How long will it take to receive the property valuation report?
The turnaround time of a valuation is dependent upon a variety of variables, mainly being the property type (eg. residential, commercial), purpose of valuation (e.g. mortgage, litigation, pre-purchase/disposal) and approximate value of the property. Generally, residential valuations for mortgage purposes are completed within 2 business days of instruction and commercial valuations are completed within 10 business days of instruction. The circumstances and time-frame requirements of each particular client are considered.
What do we require to commence the valuation ?
In order for us to undertake a valuation exercise we require written instructions. The instructions can be in the form of an e-mail, letter or fax and should state the purpose of the valuation, the address of the property, contact details for access and that the client agrees to the pre-negotiated fee. Once instructions are received our administration staff will organise for a valuer to inspect the subject property as soon as possible.
