Bertacco Ferrier Pty Ltd employs only experienced and qualified Valuers, each maintaining membership of the Australian Property Institute (API) and accreditation as Certified Practising Valuers

The Continuing Professional Development program and the Risk Management Module administered by the API has been embraced, with each Valuer attending workshops and seminars on economic, specific property and property related issues whilst the Institute’s Code of Ethics are strictly adhered to.

Andrew Weaver AAPI

Certificate in Real Estate Management & Valuations (RMIT)

Andrew commenced his valuing career in 1971. His expertise in englobo parcels, electricity substations, parkland, mobile telephone towers, flood-prone land and statutory land acquisition and compensation is well recognised within the industry.

Andrew’s career has been extensive, providing valuations for government major projects whilst also undertaking residential valuations for finance and private sectors.

Brett Stielow AAPI

Diploma of Valuation (Perth Technical College)

Brett commenced his career in the property industry in 1962 with local Government in Perth having been appointed District Valuer, Valuer General, Perth where he undertook a range of responsibilities including appraisals, englobo land subdivision and mass valuation projects.

Since joining Bertacco Madge Ferrier Pty Ltd in 2003, Brett has specialised in the eastern suburbs comprising residential valuations for a variety of financial institutions and private clients.

Kevin McEncroe AAPI

Associate Diploma Valuations (RMIT)

Kevin commenced in the property industry in 1983 and has extensive experience in commercial, industrial, residential and retail property having valued such for finance and private sector clients.

Greg Madge AAPI

Associate Diploma of Valuation (RMIT)

Greg’s valuation career began in 1971 having gained extensive experience over all classes of property particularly commercial, retail and industrial together with residential.

He has also consulted to the finance industry, industrialists and private investors.

Des Dinama AAPI

Master of Applied Science (RMIT)

Des began his valuations career at Bertacco Ferrier in 2006 and has been actively engaged in commercial, retail, industrial and residential valuations.

He has also participated in research on behalf of Master Builders Association of Victoria for his masters thesis.

Peter Ferrier

Cadet Valuer
Graduate year in Bachelor of Applied Science - Property (RMIT)

Peter has been undertaking his cadetship with Bertacco Ferrier since 2008. He has gained experience in commercial, industrial, retail and residential valuations.
